WAO-HQ-NYC- 12/18/2011- World Arakanese Organization (WAO), Headed by Dr. Aye Chan, will award as the Prize and Honoring for Outstanding Students who passed the higher Grade of 10 class of High School in Arakan for 2010-2011 educational year. The Prize will be offered through Rakhine Thahaya Association.
Annually, this award was offered by Dr. Aye Chan and U Hla Kyi (former General Secretary of WAO) – on behalf of WAO-with their owned money and some was contributed by WAO-USA. For this year, WAO-USA has arranged to offer as estimated sum $ 400 has been made decision by Nine attendee members of WAO-USA’s teleconference on Sunday, December 18, 2011.
